Year of the Rabbit!

It's currently Chinese New Year! :) 新年快樂 (Xin Nian Kuai Le)! Well, at this time, in China/Taiwan/etc (since it's a day ahead there), but here, not until Febuaury 3rd :P Year of the Rabbit, woot woot! It's funny how it's the Year of the Rabbit since I love rabbits ^^ although my Chinese zodiac is snake. For the past three Chinese classes, I learned a lot about their culture which is really fascinating. I wish I could celebrate it -_- so I can get those hongbao (red envelopes) and eat those delicious looking food. Now I wish I could see my Chinese professor, so I'll witness his cheery mood. Can't wait for Chinese4 class this Spring, and I'm nervous >.<

Back to the American world, I had recently did my first hiking experience :) To be honest, I was concern due to my lack of exercise, and I might would had complain a lot. But who would had known I actually enjoy it ^^ Not that I would go quite often though! It was a great experience; I went along with Eric and Jillian and hiked at Echo Mt. near Pasadena. The total time of hiking (including on the way back): about 3 hours. Afterward, we went to this small Japanese restaurant called Maki Yaki. That place is pretty good! Small sushi, but their bento was good enough! I wanna go back to that place! One day, Maki Yaki, one freaking day.
