Tuesday was the first day of Statistics (9:45am) and Chinese4 (12:10pm) class, however I overslept O.O This was my first time ever missing the first day! I woke up at 12pm and freaked out. I left them messages by using IP Relay & emails. I even went to school to confront them that day, but they were gone ._. Yesterday, I met up with my Chinese professor who I took for Chinese1&2 last year. Thankfully, I was excused and expected to show up the next class. Whew! As for math professor, she wasn't there ._. However, late last night, I received an email from her and said I was excused. Wow o.o because usually, the professors would drop you and add the person who is on the waiting list.
Anyways, today is I show up to math and Chinese. Math, I was sleepy but didn't fell asleep, haha >.< As for Chinese, I was pretty nervous because of my lack of practice for the past 3 months As I entered the class, laoshi (meaning "teacher/professor" in Chinese), wasn't there yet. Couple of minutes after, laoshi came in and a smile came up to my face. Mind you, he is one of the most inspiring professors everrrr. I just love that professor, despite how strict he can be. Back to the story, once he came in and spotted me, "Staceeyyyyyy, welcome back!" I blushed, because I don't like when he do that >.< I was sure the class instantly thought I'm his teacher's pet. He then said, "Good to have you back! Do you miss me?" and laughed. Shyly, I replied and bow my head a little in respect. His class is always fun ^^ Unlike that professor for Chinese3 that I took during fall semester, he was boring :( I also made a new friend in class, and she's Chinese herself. While we both had to read the long Chinese essay from the textbook together, the class was really noisy. After we finished, I started writing to her in Chinese. She looked at me and said something in my ear. I told her that I can't hear whispers, and she then spoke, "your Chinese's good!" I look at her surprisingly for a second, and then I said thank you. Funny, because I still think that I need some more improvement, but it was nice to hear from a fluent Chinese speaker.
okay, I gotta shut up now, haha (: In the future, expect all the bragging about Chinese class!
Haha cute story! :)
