Jillian walked into the DSPS for an appointment while I was waiting around in the hallway. I looked around for a place to sit, and all were preoccupied except one seat with a girl sitting across the desk. I walked there and gestured if the seat was taken; she shook her head. I noticed her studying Biology while I was texting. Then the Head of the Interpreter Service walked by and we chatted about how was it going so far in Chinese class and where I'm planning to transfer. After he left, I remembered I had to study Chinese for a bit since the oral quiz was going to happen in 35 minutes. I took out my Chinese textbook and focused on studying. I noticed some movement on the desk and saw she was putting her bio papers away. The desk was empty for a second. As I look back up to see, she had Chinese essays all over the desk. She looked at me, and we instantly smiled. "You know Chinese?" she asked in an amazement. "I'm still learning," I shyly replied. "Are you taking Chinese class?" I stupidly asked (since I was nervous!). "No, haha, I'm Chinese" Little laugh there; that was a good start, right? Then we started writing to each other about what languages she wants to learn and what I want to learn next (ah, She's still learning English! ^^) She mentioned one of the languages she wants to learn: Japanese. Such a perfect timing it was when Jillian arrived (she's currently taking Japanese2). I told the new friend how Jillian is learning Japanese. She was pretty excited. Haha, that definitely the highlight of our day today (: we'll be seeing her often ^^

Later in the evening, Sammie, Josue, Jillian, and I were at Boiling Crab. While I was eating, I received a Facebook text that Eric left a comment on my wall saying, "I miss boiling crab.. Its Emergency!" That put a huge smile on my face, because he didn't know I was there xD What a coincidence, indeed. I text him saying that I'm actually at Boiling Crab.

And his reply? "I hate you"
