Today Glee's episode, "Born This Way" was basically about teaching the Gleeks a valuable lesson about self-acceptance and embracing what makes you unique through the music of Lady Gaga. One character named Rachel Berry, disliked her nose. She had considered getting a nose surgery, but her friends were offended at the idea. With love and support, it took her some time to accept her nose. She also had a customized tshirt and it said "NOSE." As well as other characters! Such as "brown eyes," "four eyed," "like boys" (a gay guy's shirt), "bitch," etc.
We are all dealing with our image issues. I'm quite sure we all have one, or even, some. I quite have a lot of things I'm insecure about myself, however I'll mention one: my nose. Just like that character that I had mentioned (: Obviously, that episode caught my interest. I still don't like my nose (and other parts as well), but it will take me some time to accept it.
